When switching between Dolphin/Swan and a WDW resort, does Disney move your luggage for you? Does it matter which leg of the trip is first in this regard?
Actually on that trip, we first stayed at the Poly concierge, moved
over to the AKL concierge, (which they took care of moving our lugagge also), then on to the Dolphin Club.
The AKL and the Dolphin are two very different animals.
The Dolphin's location and pool were great!
The AKL had the animals, it's a new resort, and the stay there gave us a "break" inbetween our vacation.
We also got to do the Sunrise Safari, which is only offered to the AKL concierge guests, so that was also a plus.
Is the Sunrise Safari really only on Tuesday and Saturday AMs? I'm wondering if I should change my split so that we can participate. We are currently planning on Poly four nights, followed by AKL three nights. Is the Surise Safari worth switching ressies?
BTW, now that I've been reading the boards for a while, I feel ready to use words like "ressies" Hope I spelled it right
I stayed at the Swan and moved to Boadwalk Villas last year and they would not move our bags. We had to move them ourselves.
My guess is that BambiTamby's experience was more of a function of being a concierge guest and the AKL CM's were willing to go the extra mile for her and move her bags. Honestly, her's is the first experience I have heard of where bags were moved to/from the Swan/Dolphin and a Disney resort.
