We are booked on the Dream for January of 2018 with two connecting deluxe family ocean view verandas. My husband and I will be in one room with our 3 little ones and my parents were going to be in the connecting room, but they just decided to cancel! We did this same trip in Nov of 16 and it was a little stressful with just two little kids so I think they aren't up for another round of chaos with a baby added into the mix as well. Now that we won't have the room next door (so great for when kids are napping or in bed earlier than us) we are considering a 1-bedroom suite. My big concern is how far forward the rooms are as I can be prone to sea sickness. I never felt any motion on our last Dream cruise on any deck (room was midship deck 7), but I worry about spending a ton of money to possibly get sick on deck 12 forward. Any good/bad experience to share about this?
The week we're booked there are only rooms left on deck 12 port side, but if I switch to the following week there are some on starboard which I prefer. Anyone stay in 12526 or 12524?
I've also considered two connecting staterooms like we have, but for the price it seems to be better to just go concierge?
Thanks!
