Last year someone posted a thread to get alot of items at Swiss Colony for free with a small purchase. Has anyone seen anything about this lately?

Last year I got three items for about $8. The two freebies were truffles and chocolate-covered butter toffee. Most people ordered a small tin of petit fours to qualify for the free stuff.

I don't think we're going to do quite as well this year, but there is still a fairly decent deal.

In today's mail was an offer for 36 chocolate truffles with your first order from the 2004 catalog. Use item # AG1316 for the truffles.

The cheapest item is still the 9-piece petit fours in a tin, for $7.95 including shipping. They are # AW1200.

$8 for two very yummy gift-packaged items isn't bad at all. I just did an order and it worked fine.

I did even better last year. I paid for the petite fours and received for free the butter toffee (OMG is that yummy), gourmet brownies, and macadamia nut choclates. I got an email yesterday with the code for the free macadamia nut chocolates: AW11150. So that's 2 things we have codes for now. Just need one more (you can only use 3 codes).

Anyone else have one?

Not connected to rewards, but for more "bang for the buck", we have been very pleased with the quality and customer service from New Braunfels Smokehouse. They are family owned and have a nice variety of products, including candy and condiments.

It appears that Swiss Colony is limiting us to one free item this year. When I try to add a second free item I get this message:

You are limited to the number of free items already in your shopping basket.
To order a different free item, you must first delete a free item that is already in your basket.
(click here to go to the shopping cart, then check "Remove" to the far right of
the item to be deleted and remember to press the update button.)

The macadamia nut chocolates

OR

The chocolate truffles

I think both have 36 in the box. Such decisions!

I prefer the macadamia nut chocolates! That butter toffee we got last year was SO YUMMY though...I just may have to buy some this year!

Thank you SO much Amanda! I LOVE those macadamia nut chocolates...but I'll settle for the sampler size (it's in the pastry sampler for those who don't know) and that way I'll get some more of that yummy Butter Toffee also...mmmmm.

I placed three orders using my two accounts and DH's account...each for the petit fours tin, free pastry sampler, and royal pecan squares. So...I'm getting:
(3) 9pc Petit Fours Tins...for gifts
(3) Royal Pecan Squares in Tins...for gifts
AND (3) Pastry Samplers...for US, LOL

...all for a total of 23.85 with free shipping! A great deal IMO.

I was able to order the 7.95 post paid petit fours and two free gifts - I chose the pastry sampler and the truffles (for DH). I can hardly wait! I wanted to order last year and didn't....
