Oh dear god, please let there be a swine flu board. I think this is worse than the election.

Also, why is there still a hurricane Katrina board? its been over 3 years.

I've been kind of wondering about that too on Katrina esp when the last post on it was over a month ago??

Seriously, this is not new on the DIS, they jump on a topic and stay with it until it gets unbearable. It's like any HOT topic, people need to talk about it.

I come to the DIS for information, but along with information we can always get the extremes of hysteria to caution. It's just like RL.

Shouldn't be a problem though - the Swine flu/H1N1 threads have calmed down to next to nothing.. You probably won't see another flare of threads until this virus makes it's second big sweep across the nation in January (or at least that's what they're predicting right now).. Maybe we'll get lucky and that won't happen - it will just "fizzle out"..
