Swimming in my suit!

I had a funeral this morning. So last night I went to the closet to take out my "suit" and I figured I had better try it on and make sure it fit. Well not only did it fit, I was SWIMMING in it. DH was trying to be nice and told me it looked fine. I said no it looks horrible. I figured ok I will get up very early today and go to Walmart (5 minutes away) to get something that fits better. Then DH says to me what about your old clothes? I had completely forgotten that I had smaller size clothes in the closet in the attic. I found the smaller size jacket and thought to myself this won't fit. But it did and it fit perfect!! I also found my smaller sized pants and they also fit. The last time I wore this "suit" was 4.5 yrs ago right before I got pregnant with DS.

My BIL commented that I looked good. (very unusual to get a compliment from him) My MIL said the "suit" looked great on me. My Aunt said I looked "skinny"

How exciting! I think it's great that our old clothes become our new clothes....

I'm sorry it took a funeral to get you to try on those smaller size clothes. I'm glad to hear how well they fit you! Bet you now have a lot of old "new" clothes you can wear. It's true that if you look for it you can find the silver lining in every colud!
