I was in a queue behind 10 people and got dc, and now I'm behind 34 people, and I'm hoping I don't dc again.

To late. I got disconnected when I was behind about 28 people. Now I think I'll have dinner instead of getting disconnected in line (if I could even get back into the line).

I'm pretty irritated that they said in no uncertain words that the only way to get those slide pieces was the ride a thon, now they give them out instead of surf pins.

Honestly.. I think they ran out.. either that or the staff like them so much they're keeping them for themselves lol just kidding, we all know the only pins staff and testers like to keep for themselves is Flying Carpet Magic

I got through to play the game, but I was blocked by several people during it. I could not move past them, not to mention the two nearest ropes were also blocking me from starting the game at the same time as everyone else. Seemed a bit unfair to me. By the time the host removed the ropes near me, everyone else had already been to atleast two doors, except for the one person standing directly infront of me, haha. I would have liked there to be atleast a bit more space for everyone to form a single-filed line... at least there would have been equal chances of winning.

I am so glad you posted about what the prize is. I have never gotten into the host games before, I see about all these great prizes on here. I met some (very nice!) DIS members tonight, and they were telling me about the games and showing me prizes they have won. So I get in, and I win! I wasn't sure how the whole thing works, so I didn't know what to expect. She says "prize given" and I go back to my room to see what it was. I just kept looking and looking through my inventory, and I can't find anything new. So I start thinking oh no what did I do wrong? I must have messed up somehow, she really hadn't given me the prize yet... she was just letting people know it was over.....and then I check here and find out it was a slide piece!! Lol....I am relieved, and least I didn't mess up my big chance to win something good!

Well, I got in and actually won! I think I figured it out. Watch which door leeds to the prize on the round before you play. Count, what order it is picked up. Then watch the order placement of the doors while the are being set up.

For example...

There are seven doors set out. Door 3 wins the round before you play. After the prize is awarded, the winning door is picked up third. Watch very carefully where the third doors is set once the set-up begins for your round. That should, in theory, be the winning door... That is how I won...

how do you know you are dc while being in line? Does it just stop counting down? I've been stuck at 16 for about 5 minutes...

In my experience, either the window comes up saying you've lost your connection or the screen freezes (nothing changes for about 5 minutes). I think the last applies to you.

Your lucky! I just wait for 10 minutes and then I hit cancel and it says I dc.

And I thought I was the smart one. Haha. Iwatched in what order she picked up the doors. She picked up the winning door first and i figured it would be the last door she put down, and I was right. I have this game mapped out.
