SWGE and F&W opening same day!

This should be interesting! I wont actually be there until 2 weeks later, but I wonder how crowds will be divided on August 29th.

I would venture to say MK & AK might be green parks. Lol

Well I’m sure invited media will get into SWGE before August 29th. They also will have a food and wine preview for media before the 29th. Opening day though will certainly be a tough choice but I have a feeling one will win out over the other.

Exactly plus F&W is pretty much the same each year

And has F&W "almost always" opened the Thursday before Labor Day? I have memories of it opening in mid-to-early September up to the F&W 20th anniversary I went to back in 2015.

I guess that's true ..I've gone or planned on going the first day the last few years and this year as well
and then hope for a EMH for SWGE

Was surprised to see them open both on the same day. Doesn't really matter as we won't be there till about 2 months later.

I don't think it will be any different for F&W other than it might be slightly less busy for opening weekend than usual. Opening weekend of F&W is usually very very busy, so they are already prepared for that

Admittedly, I'm kind of operating on a worst case scenario. Hollywood Studios hits capacity early in the day, disgruntled Star Wars fans migrate to EPCOT
