Im going the second week of June.....Is it an absolute must to hit Expedition Everset first thing when you get to the AK??? I figure FP will run out nd there will be a huge line.

Try the single rider line. Just ask a CM at the entrance to the ride for a single rider pass.

The FP's might run out, but they certainly won't run out until later in the morning, regardless of the number of guests.

If you like, you can go to EE first thing and ride and/or grab a FP.

Regardless, you should ALWAYS arrive at ANY of the parks gates 30 minutes before opening time (EMH or not) and be among the first guests admitted. That way, no matter what, you can be ready to ride your favorite attraction(s) early-on.

I agree. Get there 30 minutes before the park opening, and ride EE first thing or get a fast pass. I rode EE first thing last Saturday, and I only waited for about 5-10 minutes. Afterwards I went to the Safari ride, and the wait was only 20 minutes (without a fast pass), and I was there early enough to see a lot of animals.
