Sweet 16 Surprise Trip REVEAL ideas!? :)

Hi, Teens...


My daughter is turning 16 this year and I'm planning a surprise trip for her. I already have the rouse to get her on the plane, but I need an idea for the big reveal.

If you were getting that as a gift, how would you want to find out? I'll probably tell her on the plane!

How exciting! I think you should just tell her on the plane. You could also get her a shirt or something special; either way I think she'll be very excited!

I agree, my mother surprised us during the drive. We originally thought we were going to see my grandparents, but told us we were actually meeting them and a few other family members at Disney instead. It was a big surprise, we had no idea. Hope you and your daughter have a great trip!

I think you should tell her on the plane. The surprises that surprised me the most, I got while on my way or when getting at the place of the surprise.

I think you should have a shirt in your carry on and at one point during the ride give it to her and tell her you want her to put it on when you arrive at the other airport. When you give it to her, have on it "I'm celebrating my Sweet 16 at Disney World!" or something like that. Or you could give her something else using the same idea.

You could have some park maps (if you don't have any, you could print them out) and a map of the resort you're staying at, and give them to her in an envelope and write on the outside "Happy sweet 16! You'll be needing these soon..." or something along those lines. Or if she has Mickey ears or anything like that you could hand them to her (or buy some) and say "Here, you'll want to put these on when we land" or "Here, you're gonna want these when we get there!"

Personally I'd tell her you are going to the beach, than once at the airport just let her figure it out on her own.
