SWDAS 2016 vs 2017

Just curious if anyone back from one of this year's SWDAS cruises also sailed last year? There were a lot of disappointed cruisers last year and I was wondering if DC upped their game as rumored this year?

There were more options to choose from for the character meets - 5. And it said who the characters were (2 possibilities) on the form. So that made ranking our meets easier. The process of getting photos seemed more streamlined. We were in & out pretty quickly with no large queues. It was all pretty relaxed.
There did seem to be more characters roaming about & they would stop for photos. And they had a small "shows" by the pool during the day.
I felt it was better, but that was probably because my expectations ere so much lower than the first time
