Miss Galinda I was right behind you. I asked Phinny if she would trade two for two and she said only 1 because she needed to keep the line moving. So I got one. Now I am in line with my two boys and one is in the 60's and one is in the 90's.

Ooooh, yeah. That was what I figured was the case. Anyway if she said you could have two then it would be hard to draw a line, now that I think about it. If someone traded for two, then what would be wrong with five? Or even 10. Better this way. (gotta love it when I actually THINK about things before I open my mouth....)

Well think about this, if staff traded you two, then she has to trade me two and two to the next person. We ALL have friend that we could give an extra pin to.

I stood in line for 4 hours. Well I didn't my little person did but I got the pin. I crashed 6 times. It wasn't a big deal today, I needed to clean my desk and I had a lot of mueling to do.

But PLEASE can someone at VMK do the math! 4,000 players on a weekend, and a room that hold 15 people and lines that are over 100 mean that most people that try WILL dc before they get to trade. This can't be the experience they want for the players. It doesn't foster a good feeling for most people.

I got in and offered a Pirate Tour Pin and was turned down since it wasn't "worth the same value" as per HOST_Phinny. Yes I was very upset but what can I do? My mother is writing a letter to Sulake to file a complaint against this host that many people don't even like because of her meanness and rude attitude.

i crashed twice for that thing, i crashed in line waiting to enter the room and then i crashed in line waiting to trade or whatever u do in there. it was so frustrating bc i was second to trade! it was so horrible. did anyone else crash? if u made it through tell me if the line was worth the wait. Thanks!!

I think almost everyone lost connection at least once. I always just keep trying and eventually get through.

I crashed four times in a row. The last time I was in the trade window when I lost connection. Then I just gave up. I did find out that I had already gotten the pin last week in the same room, so it was an easy decision for me. I was hoping to get it for my boy, but I told him if he wanted it that bad, get in line and try your luck! Needless to say, after watching me crash and burn four times, he decided against the wait!

They are an exercise in Frustration, as you often crash just as your goal is in sight. I generally crash right as the trade window opens, or right after I put in my pin for trade!

But, if you would like to join in the fun, go to the VMK home page and click on events. That will list any vmk events for the day and what time they are offered, what they are called and what they do. (swap monster is a pin swap, doorway to fortune is a spin the generator game) To find the room during the time the event is taking place go to the guest room menu in VMK. It is usually the top room listed. If you want to be sure, type in the room name as is listed on the front page OR (this is what I do) type in VMK_ or HOST_ and click search. Swap Monster is a a trading room where you can trade a staff member. Usually Swap Monster happens on the weekends when there is no events. Usually there is a new EXCLUSIVE item the staff has and if you trade them something for equal value you can have it. In the past staff has traded yellow soldier(christmas) and Grand Californian pin. It is becoming more unlikely that you can get in the room long enough to trade because people disconnect so often. That is why this thread is here. People are discussing what happend when they tried Swap Monster this week.!

Hi everyone!

Please keep this thread on topic and NO MORE attacks on other members or VMK staff...if we have to delete as many posts as we just did we will have no other choice than to delete the whole thread and someone will have to start a new one.

Constructive Criticism of staff, vmk is allowed just do not name call or attack staff or other members.
