I posted this on the Swan/Dolphin thread, but am putting it here too. Has anyone stayed at the Swan using the Recipe Club rate yet? I want to know if you were able to use it for room service and if there were any other restrictions.

Hi! We just stayed using the Recipe Club rate last week. We did not use room service. The only restriction mentioned was it could not be used at Shula's. We used it at Tubbi's and Gulliver's. At the same time, I used the Disney Club Card and saved 20% off the meal.

The credit does not show on your card until checking out. Remember, you can also request late checkout - I believe it was 4:00. I called down the first time and requested late checkout they said no. Then I called back down saying I had the Recipe Club rate and they said no problem we could stay until 4:00.

what exactly is the recipie rate? I wasn't able to figure it all out.
I have the 129/night (154 after taxes) gov't rate at the dolphin for Jan. How does this compare. What do you get etc? Thanks.

The recipe rate is only good thru 9/30/2003. it is $139 night for a standard room at the swan and you receive a $50 food credit for every 2 nights you stay. If you are interested just call the Swan directly (888-828-8850) and ask if they have any availability for your dates at the recipe club rate. You also get an early check-in 11:00 and a late check out 4:00. I hope this helps you!!!

Thank you very much - we have the recipe rate booked, but did't know about the early check-in, hopefully we will get there about 2:30. I hope then we can get our room at not have to wait.

I also posted on the Swan/dolphin thread. I modified my reservation to the recipe club rate. Do I need to join something? I have the print out from the website, but nothing else. The reservations person that helped me didn't have any information about the recipe club and how to join. Told me that I would be okay with the print out.

I think you will be fine with the printout. If you want to officially be registered, send a postcard from their site and make sure you check the box for recipe club. This is under your profile if you have registered there before.
