I have never had the opportunity to stay at the Swan or the Dolphin, but that $99.00 teacher rate though DreamsUnlimited is almost too good to be true! I am wondering which I should choose, Swan or Dolphin, and am looking for comments on DreamsUnlimited. I am used to booking myself via WDW. Any comments, suggestions or insights will be greatly appreciated.

The theming, location and price are basically the same at both, so I would look at the food and the pool/other amenities and make your decision based on that.

and we LOVED it. I got a $99.00 rate also, 2 years ago labor day. We walked to the Dolphin several times to go to Tubbies and the Dolphin Fountain (LOVED the milkshakes!). It was an easy walk, and we did not mind it at all. I thought the teachers rate was around $129.00? How did you get $99.00? Also, don't forget to figure in the resort fee, and parking fee if you have a a car! ::MickeyMo

We stayed at the Swan this past March. I think as far as the rooms go, they are pretty much the same as the Dolphin (not sure). If I were to stay again, I would choose the Dolphin. It seemed like we were always walking over to the Dolphin for meals and the lobby area seemed nicer. But they both share the same pool and boat dock.

i believe the Swan has queen beds and the Dolphin has doubles, unless that has changed since I've been there. I guess I'll find ot soon in about 13 days. We're staying at the Dolphin. I love them both.

Both great places.
Over at the dolphin:
Tubbies is the convenience food place. They have a refillable mug there. The workout area over at the dolphin is much bigger, if thats an issue for you.

The beds are bigger at the swan. I think the swan's bathroon setup is better. I'm thinking it has a sink outside the restroom, while the dolphin only has a vanity area outside the restroom door. They both have a sink in the restroom.

All depends what makes you more comfortable.

You can't go wrong with either one. The Dolphin has a more impressive lobby, but the Swan is easier to get around in because it's smaller. That's a great rate. Enjoy!

Another vote for the swan, to add to what the other posters said without repeating, the swan is the lst bus stop so that is a plus and we really like the smallness and of getting back to our room faster after a long day in the parks etc.

My vote is the Swan or Dolphin..both great! :rolleyes1
