Swan/Dolphin vs. Memories Pkg

So it looks like the Memories package might be a better deal than the Swan packages? Can anyone break out their Swan wedding vs. the Memories package?

As I understand it, $1991 gets you a photographer, flowers, musician, space, and a wedding planner.

At the Swan, $1500 gets you a site, water, ad a planner.

Am I missing something in this?

Can I have a cake (brought in or ordered) in one of the resort restaurants, with champagne?

I think the biggest difference between the two is the number of guests. We were looking at the memories package when we first started, but we had too many people going.

We are getting married at the swan and then going eat at California Grill, where we will have a cake.

Also, at the Swan you can get married at any time during the day, not just certain times.

I say if you just have the small party of 6, go for the memories package
It didn't work out that we could, and really didn't want to spend the money for another disney wedding package. Luckily, we have a friend that's a photographer so we wont have to pay for one

Yep, guest count was our deciding factor too.

I agree with the girls that a deciding factor would have to be guest numbers. I will say that for the extra $500.00 difference between the Memories and S/D package, you can probably get most of the other elements you want, and remember that the Memories package only includes 1 hour of photography, which, IMHO is not very long.
