Swan & Dolphin Sold out 2/5 & 2/6

I just called to ask about the entertainment rate for 2-3 thru 2-7 and was told that the 5th and 6th were completely sold out. I asked why and she did not not know, said maybe it was a convention. This is for both the Swan and Dolphin. Does anyone know what is going on?

perhaps they were just sold out of that particular rate? did she say both entire hotels were at maximum occupancies? if so, i'd bet it's a convention and it's also likely that as they get closer to the date some rooms will be freed up...

I agree. It's probably a convention - they often block large numbers of rooms. As the date approaches, they will return any rooms that do not get reserved.

I think it's a convention for my DH's company. They usually have their convention in disney on that weekend every year (at S/D). This year they were going to try something new so they booked New Orleans. I heard they were trying to get it moved back to disney.
