Swan/Dolphin questions

I am sure this is answered somewhere, but..

Do all rooms have balconies? What would I have to do to get one?

Do you get to use the EMH if staying there?

Which is better for just me and my DD-6, the Swan or Dolphin?

Have they both been remodeled completely?

Hi,
The rooms with balconies are a seperate room category at the S/D. So all you have to do is book that category and you will get a balcony.

You get EMH and Disney transportation and package delivery.

My husband and I enjoy both the S/D very much. We do not have children so I cannot comment on these resorts from a childs point of view.

The rooms at both the Swan and Dolphin are renovated. They feature Westin's Heavenly Beds, which are said to be, the most comfortable in WDW. The Swan was also recently repainted, and the Dolphin (not sure) is getting repainted currently.

We stayed there for two nights following the Floridian, and the beds were AMAZING compared to the Floridian beds. The room was not as posh but it was much quieter ( you couldn't hear other guests talking through the walls).

LOVE the Swan & Dolphin! Our favorite places to stay in WDW.

From a kids point of view or for traveling with a child, I think the Dolphin is a tad more convienent. You are closer to the Grotto & Tubbi's is right downstairs, as well as the Dolphin Fountain for Ice Cream & Burgers (like a Beaches & Cream sort of place)

The beds just can't be beat & I love the decor since they were remodeled.
