Swan/Dolphin pre cruise?

We are booked 2 nights at the Swan/Dolphin pre cruise in Dec. Our travel agent told us that we will go where they put us but can request one of the hotels. We requested the Dolphin. Has anyone done this? And when will we/did you find out what hotel you were going to be in? Thanks!

We also requested the Dolphin following our cruise for this July - we just made our final payment last week and we haven't heard yet if it will be the Dolphin or Swan definitely. I will let you know which one we get as soon as I get confirmation.

We rec'd the pre/post stay at the Swan/Dolphin for our upcoming trip in May (12 days to be exact )

We did not find out which hotel until last week. We had requested the Dolphin for several reasons and that is what we rec'd. It is DCL that makes that decision, not Swan/Dolphin or our travel agent. We were very confused about all of this...but we can't complain too much b/c we got the $99/night deal!!

I will post a trip report to let you all know what a wonderful time we had!!

We are going on the June 9th cruise. We requested Dolphin for our stay before and after and got it. We found out when we got our cruise docs.

What is the pre/post cruise rate up to now?

I booked at the end of Feb. and just missed the $99.00 a night stay. The rate went up to $149.00. I figured that was still a good deal for a room.

Not having stayed at either hotel, I would ask for the Swan because it's a Westin (the Dolphin is a Sheraton). Westin's have the wonderful Heavenly Bed.

We are going on the May 16th pin trading cruise and are staying at the Dolphin post-cruise for the $99 rate. We didn't know what hotel until we received our voucher in the cruise docs. The Dolphin is fine with us, we are Starwood Preferred guest members.
