Howdy,

I have a friend who will be graduating for nursing school at the first of May, and wants to go to DW for a grad gift to herself. I'm not trying to cheat Disney or whoever is in charge of the Swan and Dolphin, but could she get a Nurse discount or does she have to wait until she passes the board before she can get a discount? Like I said, neither of us want to cheat the resort or cheat another person out of a room, we are just curious.

Thank you! :teeth:

Good question I was wondering the same thing...I'll be graduating in May also....

Once we went and they asked for my hospital ID or my nursing license...the second time they didn't ask for anything, so you may need some sort of ID.

. . . and ask? It can't hurt. I'm a softy, but if it was up to me, I'd give you the discount. Maybe if they say no, you could politely ask it they could give it to you with a copy of your diploma???? I always say it never hurts to ask. You worked hard to get that degree. You deserve a break!

Congrats, by the way!

A couple years ago when I called to make a reservation I was told that I needed to have either my nursing license, a copy of my hospital ID with my credentials, or a letter on hospital letterhead stating that I was indeed a credentialed nurse. I would call and ask if graduate nurses qualify, and tell them you will bring a copy of your diploma. As hard as it is to get through nursing school, you deserve the discount!
