Hello to All!!!
I hope this finds you all well. I have skimmed through a few posts, but know that I have missed a ton I am sure.
Debbie - Did you ever have the Endoscopic Sinus Surgery? I don't know if you remember, but that was the surgery that I had the day after 9-11, when I was suffering from those awful headaches....Hope that you are doing well with the sinuses....
MS - Wonderful news about the car. I felt so blessed when we were about to afford a second new car this year. BUT, I sure do miss being chauffered everywhere...
Ann - Hi old friend!!! Great idea about the donation. I am sorry that you lost a friend.
Sue - Glad to see you are a staple around here again.
Brandie - Saw the pictures of your new home. I know you must be so thrilled. I am thrilled for you.
Cookie - HI!!!!
Welcome to cynbare...
Dan, SSB, TC, Lora and anyone else I might of missed...Hope that you are all well.
Life is good for us as always. We had over the past two weeks some extreme highs and some sad lows. It was an interesting time to say the least. On October 9 and the 15, our family experienced the loss of two of my father's brothers. One lived in Virginia and one here in Jacksonville. My uncle here in Jacksonville died from complications with pneumonia and mimicked very much the illness of my father last year. It was uncanny as he died one year to the day of the day that my father went to hospital. I think that my dad suffered a little guilt as he lived through his ordeal and now two of his brothers have died. One was 72 and the one here in town was 62. I told him that his life must have purpose and there is work for him to do, otherwise, why else would God have saved him. I am hoping that he takes my words to heart.
On October 11, Savannah turned 13. My father and I discussed it and we decided that we would go on with her planned party. We had about 30 guests at our home and she had a wonderful time.
On October 14, she was in a vocal concert and performed in six songs. It was a happy point in such a tumulutous week. Then she found out that one of vocal groups she is a member of this year has been chosen to be in a local commercial here. Savannah has led a very blessed life and I hope that I have instilled in her the ability to appreciate all that God has provided her with.
I, too, had some questions thrown at me over the last week by two different friends about the Women in Ministry. I am happy to report that I have worked through these questions and I stand more committed than ever to head my call from God to enter the ministry. There is peace that comes with this awareness.
Well, I just wanted to stop by and say hello...Of course, I tend to write a book....
I think of you all often and miss my times that used to be spent here. Take Care!!!
Love,
Teri
