I liked that outcome too Debbie especially after Derek Jeter STILL had an oh-so-smug-don't-you-worry-we-are-just-so-cool look on his face until the 9th.

I can't stand the looks on Jeter's face EVER....he is so FULL of himself!!!!

when I woke up this morning my clock said 10:30 ...and it WAS already turned back I can't remember the last time I slept that long

Yay, DH got home late this afternoon after his bird-hunting weekend away. So DD and I dumped our tales of woe on him and we feel better now that he's home. Well, at least I do, I don't think DD does. She's been down in the dumps all day and is now out at Best Buy with her ex because she's cooped herself up all afternoon doing homework and fretting about her biological father, her SAT scores, the college application process, and a Statistics test tomorrow for which she doesn't understand the material (but left it til Sunday afternoon).

I think we all need a trip to Disney World. Or at least a plan for one.

haven;'t been to talkative lately.......alot going on.......yesterday went shopping with daughter to old navy and had a blast.....then we pigged out at Olive garden......those bread sticks gave me nightmares......today went to portland mall (other direction) and got a home theater thingie......he is busy putting the speakers in the ceiling.....I know my deaf mother that lives on the second floor will be able to hear what we play now......I can hear what she plays.......ROFL......I am happy .....I will let you in on the happiness ...in a few weeks.......nice to see you all

my weekend was just so so....we bought futons for michael and Justin.....Justin informed me he has a girlfriend oh yay!! .....another son with a girlfriend ....Mikes SAT scores weren't all that wonderful and the weather yesterday was dreary

My sister adn a friend are going for a long weekend at the beginning of December, I could have and wanted to join them, but cannot get enough days off around a weekend to make it worth the airfare waaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

godd morning everyone!

alright...i've sunk to an all new low...i am now reading clay aiken fan fiction... i was not an AI watcher...DH and i watch the first few beginning episodes and laugh at the auditions, but that's about it...i have never even heard the man sing...a friend of mine is a fanfic writer and she's pretty good! we met through a GWTW group. she got me going on this story she's writing...and i spent all day yesterday reading it. i am now officially obsessed. what is it about that guy??? DH is making fun of me cuz i want to buy a CD of someone i've never heard sing. what has become of me...lol

so how is everyone? pumba's running low on crackers...that's not good!! celebrity sightings at WDW? wish i could be there...christine, hope you have an awesome time at SSW!!

oh..our house has doors!! we went out and they've installed a garage door, front door, and the sliding glass door!! it looks like they are getting ready to shingle the roof. hopefully that takes care of the leaky roof!

gotta run for now...need to check to see if the next chapter is up yet...

so what are you reading thats gotten you hooked on Clay? I'm sure the beginning shows of AI were laughable....the first week I watched was the week Clay sang and was voted off. Of couse he came back as a wild card or something like that....thank goodness cuz he is wonderful I have his CD and I'm going to get another....one for my car and the other is in my walkman for when I walk ....can't be without him

i'm such a fanfic junkie...this gal i know...she and i actually do some fanfic writing for Gone With the Wind...anyway, she's started writing stories using the character of "Clay". it's so gosh darned addicting!! but this story isn't exactly rated G...it's got some pretty racy chapters to it. if anyone's interested in reading, PM me and i'll send you the link...

i think i'm goin to use the best buy bucks from the monopoly game at mcdonald's i've accumulated thus far to purchase his cd. is it really THAT good? i've never heard him sing, but i was amazed at how many adult women are swooning over this guy and his voice! i will say that he is fairly easy on the eyes...

oh...not only do we have doors, but we have bathtubs too!! and a furnace. but the furnace isn't on yet...and it's freaking cold in that house!! they've installed our tubs (regular in the hall bath and a garden tub for me in the master bath!) in the appropriate bathrooms...woo hoo!!

well when I say he is wonderful I mean his voice and his personality...he is so genuine.....as for his looks...he's OK....but thats not important....he's just a wonderful person !!
His voice is extraordinary...I love the whole CD but I have my favorites...the 1st 4 songs, and This is the night and the last one. I can listen to this alllllllll day

I read somewhere that women from the age of 10 to the age of 65 are all swooning over him!!
