Sending you shoulder-healing PD! Laconia is about 1/2 hour north of here, the heart of the nNH "Lakes Region". Absolutely beautiful this time of year with the foliage. Now if you had given me explicit directions I would have LOVED to play hookey from work today, a gorgeous autumn day in New England...maybe rest a little after the late game and drive up to see Mom and Dad GVB and Auntie and Uncle !!!

We just had pizza with Mady Jo and her parents for DHs birthday...Avery and his mom were up all night with a really icky stomache bug so they didn't come.....(these are the days I DON"T miss...a two year old spewing both ends in his parents' bed....no thanks....ugh..poor little guy but...uughh....'specially with mom sick too)

Yeppers, been back to a busy work schedule...working 'till 7 most nights (I have a trip to WDW that I have to start saving money to pay for). Wish I was rich 
Today, however, was back in court about visitation early a.m. (nothing happened. I hate that--you go and nothing happens, except you get another court date. Yuck!), then in the afternoon, went to talk to a local college recruiter about going back to school...
Yeah, can you believe it?? ME!!, back in school at my age??? It's an 18 month course, all online except the actual clinical hours, and those are done at the hospital where I work. Best part is, 0f the 23,000 cost (OUCH!), Norton (the company I work for) will pay $16,000. I will get a student loan for the remaining 7K, which will be forgiven at the rate of 20% per year for ecery year that I work as a nurse in KY, erasing the loan in 5 yrs, so, no $$ for me to pay.
IF--big IF-- one more nurse registers for the classes by Friday, I will start immediately (they have to have 5 nurses to offer the class). If not, then I won't start until Jan.
Finals week is the same week I am planning to be in WDW ($$$ Willing), and I told them I could not do it. They said I could take them the previous week. 
On the bad news side, I think that horrible, painful, neurologic problem I had a few yrs back has returned. The pain has been intensifying and today had me in tears . I had to stop everything I was doing and call my wonderful nurse practictioner, who didn't hesitate to call in 3 scripts to try to help the pain. The only thing she said when I said "I think it's back" was "Oh, no. How much tegretol where you on before? I'll call it in" She even looked up the phone number of the pharmacy, cause I didn't have a phone book available.
I really like her a lot....
May be time for another Gamma Knife.....

our house schedule online has disappeared! that means they are getting ready to begin framing!!! they post the schedule online while pouring the foundation/slab and then about the day before framing begins, that stuff disappears to make way for the framing schedule!! cross your fingers that we can move in my the end of the year...
it sounds as if we need some healing pixie dust all the way around!!
we're having quite the indian summer around here! it was low 60's all last week...this week, we're in the upper 70's!! it's beautiful out there...i'm hoping that the leaves hold out on the trees just a smidge longer. they say that peak time for the foliage color will be next weekend. we have a nice state park about an hour south of us that's just beautiful when the leaves begin to turn...i'm hoping that the rain we're expecting on sunday doesn't knock them all off the trees!! i think we're planning to head down there for a day next weekend.
good luck with school sue!! my DH has FINALLY chosen a school and he's going to be starting an online program also. he works for a student loan company and they'll pay up to 60% for this school. they'd pay 100% if it were a state funded school, but he chose a private school i guess. so we'll have to have student loans to cover the rest, but i think he should know where to find a few.
