hello Bob!! I see you have 6 whole posts now on this thread

I hate buying a car.....I mean I like buying a car but I can't stand dealing with salesman. We have been "browsing" lately ....so today I get a call from a salesman asking if we're still interested in a car we had tested. He asked if we could come in again...I said my husband is working and I have daycare here....so he offers to send the salesman here to my house to discuss it  so I had to repeat myself...MY HUSBAND IS WORKING AND I HAVE DAYCARE HERE!! "oh so you couldn't discuss it then?" he asks......I had to tell him again. MY HUSBAND IS AT WORK 45 MINUTES AWAY and I HAVE DAYCARE....5 CHILDREN....I'm NOT DEALING WITH YOU NOW.......

OR EVER!!!

grrrrr

And Ms. Poohlover was correct

Ahhh. Aren't I always???

So, hello, Fly-by Bob! Good to see you again. Mayhaps you won't wait so long to grace us with your presence, again??

Brandie--Sorry about the delay in your house. While it would have been nice to be in by Christmas, just think how rushed you would have been! This way, you will have time to enjoy the holidays and then get your new home all fixed up the way you want it without the added holiday pressure.
The first house I ever bought--we closed on Dec 10th (a Friday). I remember going over on the following Monday to wait for the utility companies to come out and turn everything on. It was cold in there. I was all alone. No way to even have music to keep me company. So, in this cold, totally empty house, I put up our Christmas tree so that, when Michelle got to be there (she was 2), she would have a tree, because she had been asking for it for days because she saw everyone else putting up their trees.

After I got to know my neighbors, they told me how they had laughed at me putting up a tree in an empty house...

Teri--So happy to hear that everything is going well for you guys.
Drop in more often.

Debbie-I totally agree about car buying. After being forced into it last December, I hated, hated, hated it. Luckily, we ended up buying from a salesman who had worked for Mike on the police department, so, the actual purchase was a piece of cake.
And, we got a great deal!

If I can find them, I shall post pictures of my old car after I "dented" it up...

Marie--What?? NO Rice crackers???? Are you feeling OK? Do you have a fever?? Call the doctor!

Close up of the front fender

A different view--this time it includes a little of the front end

inside.jpg

The interior--All of the broken plastic is from the transmission that shoved the passenger compartment back when it decided to try to get in the seat with me.

rearend.jpg

The rear end--who knows how this happened. Of course, I don't remember any of it...

windshield.jpg

The windshield--supposedly the smashed area is why I don't remember anything . It might not have been as big as a problem, except this was on the passenger side and I was driving...

Do I do good work, or what????

 OMG sue...those pictures are frightening!!! after seeing those, i'm amazed that you are here to post those pictures!! wow...

i was trying to avoid having to break out our christmas decorations here in the apartment...one less thing to have to pack up. but i guess there may be no avoiding it. and there's no way that i can go without putting up our tree...i'd go crazy!! maybe we'll get lucky and they will be able to close early enough before christmas...cross your fingers...

YIKES SUe!! I can't believe you survived that

Brandie...I agree with Sue about closing on the house in December. We closed for our huse on Dec. 4th and really isn't any fun at Christmas time. Enjoy Christmas first!!

Have a good day everyone!!

Wow, that is a scary wreck!!

they told me how they had laughed at me putting up a tree in an empty house...
I'd have done that too. (Putting up the tree, not the laughing at you part :teeth:
I bought a condo in Nov 89, right after DD turned 3. Though I did have furniture in and all, I do remember that getting a treeand unpacking and setting up the Xmas decorations boxes was priority over curtains, pictures/knicknacks, and some of the miscellaneous kitchen "stuff" ;) Speaking of Shellie...how IS she????

Car salesmen.....bleeeech...I found a decent one for my Chrysler though.

Pumba, how's the cracker supply? :jester:

Have a nice Wednesday everyone.

anyone know if gail ended up going to see bette and barry this morning? i'm watching!! i love bette midler...

morning everyone

:crowded: :duck: :headache:
there are quite a few new ones!! click on the get more link unber the smilie box...

it was so hard to get out of bed this morning...i just wanted to stay curled up under the covers!! i kept asking DH if he was sure it wasn't saturday...

have a good day!!

I didn't go...too complicated. :( My friend was there, and got Bette's autograph on one of her earlier CD's. She was more jazzed about meeting Doug and Laurie from Trading Spaces than seeing Barry and Bette - the nut! :p I really wanted to go; I should have just planned to get up earlier and drop the boys off this morning instead of sleeping over last night. I had a brain freeze and didn't think of that until this morning, of course...ah well...

Shoulder still hurts, so not too much typing here for me today - have a good day, all!

brain freeze, huh?? That must be my problem lately too. Everything seems so complicated and the easier/simpler/convenient solutions never occur to me, or if they do it's too late!

More PD for that shoulder Gail!

Hard getting up here today too Brandie...another gray damp CHILLY day!!

Holy mackeroli, Ms. Poohlovr!!!!!! YIKES!!!! Glad that you survived the, er, um, "fender bender". Looks more like a high speed collision, to SSB!

Any of you rascals been to MNSSHP? Think that I am taking the kiddos this year, as I was asked to stay away from the official day... (how rude!) :)

Bought tickets for the Friday before, but not sure what all to expect. Was going to do a general post, but figure that you may all know...

Ms. Debi, SSB shall try to push that count up a bit!

The always kind NHAnn must confess to not only never having been to MNSSHP, but also to not really knowing what the letters stand for...:guilty:
but will say it is not only very rude but also (new "snooty" smilie ) :snooty: for anyone to ask SSB to stay away from anything. sheesh! Don't they know how honored they should be to have your company at all???

OH and SSB??? IGNORE those "rascals" who will now accuse me of "sucking up", OK???????

It's a sad day at the SD Cheerleader house....

Our own sometimes visitor, Dan Murphy, has forgotten who we are and how we came to be...

We've officially been replaced in everyone's hearts and minds

I feel like a race horse that has been retired.....
 :o :wave2: :duck: :duck: :duck:

I was only trying to follow the 'rules' guys. Resort questions on the resort board. I've been moved too many times, LOL. ;) I ask forgiveness. :grouphug:
