A dreary rainy day here to...was up late waiting for DD and her friend to get home, the friend stayed over. I finally put earplugs in around 1 because they were giggling on the computer. Got up early to get groceries and make some dip for Avery's birthday party, picked up DHs mom to take her, we just got home. I ate snack food all afternoon, and yummy cake with whipped cream frosting. DH wants dinner I guess he didn't snack as much as I did...........
Avery was such a cute patootie and I got a preview look at his Halloween costune: DUMBO!! can't wait to take pics and show you guys!!!!

I'm doing laundry that I put off til tonite and feeling a bit cranky that the weekend's over.

what a weekend........never saw it rain so much except when we had that rain the week before last......hahaha.......monsoon season .....in Maine......thank goodness it wasn't that S word.........ROFL......monday came fast and the alarm clock went off early.......this is my early rug rat week.......one week I start at six fourty five and the next week it is seven forty five.......baby kyle and his family went to the Fryeburg Fair today.....so it is just me and Jacob.....had stress yesterday......and ate another bag.......hubby was saying......HOW MANY DO YOU HAVE LEFT.......geesh.......as if I am going to tell him that........

not sure what happened to the weekend!! it went by so gosh darn fast...

debbie...i hope the sinus thingy works out soon. my ex-husband had surgery on his sinuses at one point. they did some kind of scraping or something on him too. i think it helped him...i honestly can't remember!

we went and looked at more models of our builder's houses yesterday. i like looking at how they are decorated and how many different styles of homes there are. we saw one room that was just awesome! it was a room for a little boy...it was decorated as if he were a knight or king or something. there was a mural on 2 of the walls...it had a castle and grass and trees and a dragon...then on another wall, it had the family's coat of arms painted on it. it was very cool!! i suppose it could be done for a girl's room too...you'd just have to make it more princess like...

ann...i saw the dumbo costume online and thought it was the most adorable thing ever!! well, that one and Stitch! and i LOVE the deluxe princess costumes for the girls too!

Avery as Dumbo? Too cute! We'll have to see pictures, ya know. I have a picture of Devin when he was two months old dressed as a dalmatian. It's on my desk here at work. I wish I could scan it...but he'd KILL me!!

Just flying through here for the moment. My shoulder is KILLING me - I was fine all weekend, but the minute I come in here...

hope your boo boo is all better really soon......I got this thing from grampas garden......it is a heating thingie and I put it in the microwave for a minute and it smells like apples and put it around my knee......it was for my hubbies elbow when he broke it and dislocated it.....so it is a nice thing and lasts forever.......look it up on the net.....hope it feels better soon

We are all fine here in Florida!!! George left me September 9 and my concellation prize was a new car....He took a promotion to a hospital in Orange Park. So, no more chauffer to work for me.... He is much happier, so it is a good thing and next summer we plan to return to Fleming Island to live. We attend church there and it is about 35 minutes from where we live now. George never wanted to move out there, as he did not want to make the commute into the city. Fleming Island is where Savannah and I lived with my first husband. I love the area. So, that will be neat.

Well, just wanted to say hi....Hope you are all well. And I want to see pictures of that little Avery!!!

You will all have to wait til after Halloween for the Dumbo pics I think....they are bringing him here to Trick or Treat in our little nighborhood becasue they are out in the boonies with houses far apart in the woods. DIL does have a snapshot of him in the costume but not sure if she has it on line for me to download and post. so hold you breath...no better not....just contain your excitement for 5 or 6 weeks more

pumba...i got so excited to see your note about bette midler on the today show, that i thought she was on TODAY!! i went and turned the tv on and there was some woman talking about soul food!! i went back and reread your message and realized that she's on TOMORROW...lol...i love bette midler. i saw her in concert back in 94 and it was awesome! i'd love to see her in concert again sometime...

long time no see teri!! don't be a stranger!!! i think that if DH gets transferred to JAX in the future, we're going to look at the fleming island area. it looks wonderful!!

well, i finally heard something regarding our house yesterday. it looks like we won't be closing on it until late december... i was really hoping to be in the house before christmas, but i guess it's not meant to be. there's still an off chance that we could get in there before christmas, depending on weather and stuff i guess. oh well...at least we're getting the house and that's what's important!! we should hear from our construction manager within the next week or so...

Way busy after GREAT vacation time of Toronto and the Cruise... with lemonade stand stuff... first in New York last week, and then all day yesterday in Tampa. Hopefully all will get back to normal soon.... nah.

Thanks for the Barry warning - I was supposed to go and stand outside among the minions, but since it'll probably be in the 40s out there, and my cough/sinus infection/whatever it is now is still hanging in there, I decided not to go. But it's BETTE & BARRY!!! Rock Center is only a block away, too.

fly by for me...off to a college app/financial aid presentation at the neighboring town's high school since we missed our local Senior parent's night at our school last week when my friend was in town for dinner. This one is put on my the New Hampshire Higher Education Foundation (whatever THAT is) and allegedly will give me all the same general info that the HS Guidance Counselors would have at the thing I missed.
