yes Ann you're right about the awkwardness with friends and as for why I feel this way....its just a lot of little things that I'm picking up on and Mike is not....I really could be wrong and I hope that I am...and I should just mind my own business but its my son and I can't........it would way take way to long to explain here

Hope everyone is having a good weekend...I have been trying to get my deck stained all summer and we can't get just one dry weekend....its a lot of deck....
Its suppose to rain later and in the morning so this weekend is out AGAIN
I even had a whole week off to do it and it rained a bit or at least threatened to ALL week

It is going to be HOT....so I guess I'll just have to lounge in the pool and feel bad about what I can't get done

With Mike...all I can say is mom's intuitions are usually pretty accurate, but I guess all we can do is be there for them, and they have to learn the hard way sometimes. It' sure hurts to see them hurt

it poured out of me....all that water last night yuck......had no food since five pm last night ....and I was starving this morning.....we went to the balloon festival last night and watched as they launched up into the sky.....it was an incredible site......they had over 50 balloons and three speciality balloons.....one is the space shuttle and was 188 feet high......enjoyed seeing them all.....NOW The food tents were like a zillion of those.....all fat and greasy and fantastic....but I could not eat a thing from five pm last night until the blood test this morning.....I wanted the fried dough..french fries...onion rings....fried dough ...saussage sandwiches....clams .....shrimp....taco salad.....I need to go back again today.....salmon pie and chicken and ribs.....and double cheeseburgers.......geesh......all this is so good for someone .......can hardly wait....hahaha.....ahve a great day everyone....

but figured we can go back to the festival tonight too......oh yah forgot the blooming onion too.....those are incredible.....we have alot of french heritage places too ...and they made the meat pies and fried guillettes.....which is similiar to a fried dough.....and beans tonight under the big top.....sausage and green pepper and onion sandwiches are on the agenda tonight.....
sorry I made you hungry......I was having this unlady like noise come out of my belly as I sat in the waitng toom with others waiting their turn for blood suckers......I had a fourteen hour fast.....so I was STARVING

OMG.....I'm so glad I didn't read this before grocery shopping. I mostly bought reasonably healthy stuff (well except for Wise snacks and the Friendly's ice cream....both those items were buy one get one free) so........ I bought...a few.... DD liked sour cream & onion chips...I like cheese puffs hehehehehe. DD likes choc M&M ice cream...I like it too but I also like this new white choclate w/ raspberry swirl that Friendly's makes...so........gotta go......eat sumpin'

pumba, DH and I were thinkin' of a drive over to York this afternoon for our annual "drive to the beach and get a lobster dinner at the Cape Neddick Lobster Pound restaurant"....but T-storms are forecast and according to my resident weather guru the radar shows them popping up and moving pretty fast into western NH towards the east so...he doesn't want to drive over there today......

Wowzer...we had a BIG boomer storm late this afternoon!!!!! DH made us shut off all appliances and close the windows (sheesh, just when the air was getting all breezy and cooled down - but soemthing about the electric ions coming in on the wind ) A couple of real flash/bangs right over our heads ... DD and I actually jumped and shreiked! Half hour later she had to go back to work

and pumba you just made me hungry again. Reminds of why I go to the BIG E down here....to eat I have one of those sausage/w onions and peppers and one of those blooming onions and curly fries and pizza and a baked potatoe with EVERYTHING on it and then into the state buildings for homemade warm blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream melting over the top and then some apple pie and cookies and tapioca pudding....lets see...what have I forgotten? Anyway thru out the day while there I eat all those things...thats probably where I got my tummy problem.

Ann...I had to smile....I just finished that PM to you and I read M likes sour cream & onion chips....Mike does too....eats them by the bagful ...they have something in common...hey soccer too

I got the "wrong" sour cream and onion chips, I guess I will end up eating them (DH doesn't do chips). She likes the Lays ones. I got Wise (buy one get one free) and they have (gasp) ripples or ridges or whatever you want to call them. Her royal highness turned her nose up at them

I just read your PM Debbie, I haven't seen DD for long enough to talk to her about anything like that . I will though.
No more soccer in common for her and Mike though...tryouts start tomorrow here and she is not going to try out. I have really mixed feelings...it's her senior year, I will miss going...but at the same time there will be no worries about the politics of the tryouts and injuries and so forth. That new coach did not organize anything over the summer...usually they would have a few evening scrimmages scheduled with nearby towns, and/or optional practices/scrimmages. She's thinking about crew which is a club sport at present, but they have limited openings as its getting quite popular. If that doesn't happen she's goign to jsut concentrate on her riding as well as some studying to try to improve her SAT scores as we get into the whole college application scene!

we had a great day at the ocean today.....wonderful weather and very calm...........I am so peaceful too....
Kaitlynn ....my granddaughter has try outs this week too......monday tuesday and wednesday.......she has a cat scan of her elbow someplace in there too.....hahaha.....
I can taste salt on my lips....licking them all off......hahaha

I'm at my parents' house, and figured I'd pop in for a minute or two (before the computer kicks me off, as it usually does).

I am a hurting puppy still after walking down all those stairs. My knee has been known to just buckle as I'm walking, and the muscles above my knees are sooo sore. I'll take all this punishment now, but geez, I don't want to have to rent an ECV in WDW! Keep your fingers crossed that this temporary spasm stuff will be done by Tuesday night.

I'll try and send one of those Epcot shots along.

well, DH and i went to my company's annual picnic. it's about a 3 hour drive each way for us to get there. they always spring for the hotel room if we want. which we take advantage of!! since we don't get to go out of town this year for a vacation, we decided to stay there over night...it was nice! not being stuck at home in our teeny apartment...

we also decided this morning (we've actually been talking all week) that we going to switch from the atkins plan to a low fat plan. this atkins thing...while it's working, it's just too much for me sometimes. i can't have the foods that i have grown to love over my life. and we figured that it was best to bag the atkins plan now before we lose too much weight on it. we've been warned that once you go off of atkins, you gain everything back. so, we went to the store today and bought all of our food for this week. and we went with very low fat foods. and we are going to exercise! i told him that i needed encouragement and pushing along so that i will exercise daily.

well, i'm tired...long weekend! catch ya tomorrow!!

Or, another fall down the stairs, but, he got amnesia when he knocked his noggin??

Engine blow up after another oil change and he got kncoked out with engine parts, and is still lying there, unconscious, in a pool of motor oil/transmission fluid??

Perhaps he climbed up inside the fish again, and got stuck in there--kinda like Noah and the Whale??

On another note, if you see that I'm in prison, it's because I wiped out the kids dad's family. Those people are still trying to cause problems. They are sorely PO'd about the court decision and are now trying to make life miserable for all of us. You know, I don't generally expend the necessary energy to really HATE people, but, this group is an exception.
