Swan/Dolphin bedding question

I have allergies and have read that the Swan/Dolphin use down comforters and pillows.

Have any of you with allergies stayed here and had a problem?

The reason I am asking is this: we are using our DVC points to stay at Beach Club Villas in September. We decided to stay two extra days, and need two extra nights in a hotel, but don't want to borrow points from next year. We thought we would just stay in either the Swan/Dolphin since it is right there, and there are a couple of good rates out right now.

I won't be able to stay if they use Down, but wondered if anyone had any problems - if not, then maybe I can handle it. Otherwise, we will just have to find another resort to stay in those two nights.

I have all sorts of allergies, including down, but it did not bother me at all. I was NOT on allergy medication, but I *was* using my normal asthma inhaler. I was concerned at first, but I wanted to try out the new rooms, so I had an attitude of
"wait and see". I always travel with a small pillow that I got in the craft store. This pillow measures only 12 X 12 and is easy to pack. This pillow is what I actually put my face on when I sleep.
This way the harsh chemicals used in hotel laundries won't bother my face. I used this little pillow as usual.

I found the heavy white down comforter to be way too heavy and hot to actually use it. I think the lighter blanket is slightly down filled and that was OK.

I didn't notice any allergy difference at all.

Thank you SO much Claudia. You have set my mind at ease. I get sort of freaked out when it comes to my allergies - I can break out before I know it and just wanted to prepare myself!
