swan concierge?

I have an option to use some points for October Swan stay and would like feedback on whether the Swan concierge level is worth the extra 100,000 points for our 5 nights stay.

I think it's only an extra 1,000 points per night to upgrade to the Club level. I think it's worth it.

I'm actually using american airline AAdvantage points. Are the club amenities similar to club level at the poly or GF??

If 100,000 AAdvantage points equals 100,000 AAdvantage MILES, then absolutely not! 100,000 AA miles = 4 free domestic tickets!

It is a bunch of miles and I am not sure what caliber of "concierge" services they offer? I have experienced Poly concierge which I consider to be just ok - I have also experienced Ritz Carlton concierge which is outstanding. As Starwood operates this hotel, I would expect it to be better than the Poly but not the same as the Ritz. Are my expectations unrealistic ?

"Concierge" at the Swan is called Club Level, and it is not the same level of service that other Disney deluxe resorts have for concierge. It is worth 1,000 Starwood points per night, but not 100,000 AA miles. The lounge is open from 7-10 and then 5-8 (serving from 5-7). That is the extent of the CL services. Very nice, mind you and we enjoyed it very much. But I dont' think it is what you are expecting.

thanks, I think I might retool my plan. The AAdvantage premium is 20,000 miles per night, totalling 100,000 for the 5 nights. I have a bunch of AAdvantage miles so it seemed like a good option initially. I think plan B is about to swing into operation.

It usually costs about $50 more per night for the Club level, and that is NOT worth all the miles you would use. Definitely go to Plan B!
