How do you check these out? All I saw was 16$ parking. Can you not look around this resort because it's not 'disney'?

You could walk from Epcot or DHS or bus from any park.

S/D is connected to the Boardwalk area resorts (Boardwalk, Yacht Club and Beach club) and the adjoining lake by a walkway, as well as the Studios (closest) and the rear entrance to Epcot (furthest). You can also walk across the street from Fantasia Gardens mini golf.

Swan/Dolphin can book Fp+ 60 days in advance.

If you are dining at a table service restaurant, they will validate your valet parking. If you park in their regular lot, you will be charged for parking.

All S/D hotel guests are charged for parking. They are not Disney-owned hotels.

And you really shouldn't be parking at BW in order to avoid paying to park at the S/D. Park at DHS and take the boat there, or walk.
The S/D pay Disney for whatever perks they want to offer their guests. So far, you can get EMHs at the S/D, you get the buses and boats, you can have packages shipped from the parks. But no DDP, no DME, no booking FP+ 60 days out. And yes, they charge for parking at their resort....no matter who you are. If you eat there, you can get parking validated, but that's pretty much it.

If you park there, you have to pay. It's correct, they aren't operated by Disney and don't follow the same rules as the Disney resorts.

Some of the restaurants will validate parking if you eat there.
