Does anyone use a TA to book SWA? Those prime dates/times are unavailable the minute they are released...I would love to find the seceret!!!

Most TAs don't do much SW booking.

SW does not show up on the major booking systems used by TAs. My work TA for example does not book SW, we have to do that one ourselves.

Normally prime times/dates are available when released, but cheap fares aren't. I think that is SW thing not that they are bought in advance by TAs.

Are you on the SWA fare list? This helps a lot, but you still have to move quickly. I am thrilled with our $114.00 r/t fare for November!

I believe things are changing at SW. There are certain dates and flights that even on the day they are released, the lowest fares are just not offered any more. You can still get the flight you want, just at a little higher rate. Don't believe there any secrets to get around this. JMO

I agree with simzac, I think when SWA releases a new set of fares, they don't release all fares for busy dates (just the higher priced ones). The lower priced ones are simply shown as "unavailable" . I have spent a lot of time this week on the SWA site and there is definately a pattern to what fares are not avaiable in/out or Florida over the Christmas holidays.
