What has everyone's experience been with SWA? We just got a great rate.....$98 RT per person!!!! We are traveling with our two children...ages 5 and 7. I know SW lets people with children under 5 board and sit together....but I am concerned about our scenario. I don't care if we get split up, but as long as each child can sit with one parent. Will this be hard to accomplish? It will be both of my childrens first time on a plane....and I am sure they will not be too happy to sit next to anyone....and to be honest, I would feel better if I could sit with one child, while my husband could sit with the other.(even if we have to split up into to differetn areas)
what is this that I have read about printing a boarding pass the night before? Please can one of you experts out there explain to me???
thanks!
Bobbi

I have probably been on 15 or 20 SWA flights. In all those flights, I have NEVER seen a child (especially as young as yours) separated from a parent. In some cases, the FAs asked some folks to move around a tad, but no big deal really.

And think about it, I'm sure your kids are awesome and well behaved, but trust me, strangers don't want to be sitting next to them alone.

I always make a point of letting the FAs know that I am a solo traveller, and if they need to move anyone, they can ask me.

You can print your boarding pass after 12:01 am on the day of your flight.
It is all explained on the web site under travel center.
The planes seats are arranged 3 and 3, so it appears that you will have to be broken up a bit.
I have yet to see parents and children split up. Just print out the passes and get to the airport about 1.5-2 hours early and you should be fine.
