This might be a dumb question, but the MHT - MCO flight on SWA that goes via BWI --- does it just stop there, and take off again, or do you have to actually change planes?

Thx,

I've always had to change planes and I'm assuming I will have to this trip too.

For the flights I looked at, the flight number changes from BWI-MCO, which usually means you will have to change planes. It also indicates a city code and numeral (BWI/1) which according to the SWA website, City code with a numeral indicates city where change of plane occurs and the number of stops including the connecting city.

For the random day when I checked flights (19 January 2007) there were four nonstop flights from Manchester to Orlando, FLT #1029 leaving at 7 am, FLT #455 leaving at 11:15 am, FLT #2742 leaving at 1:40 pm and FLT #1242 leaving at 8 pm. I'd definitely try and get one of these!

lost*in*cyberspace is correct (as usual ;))
If it were a direct flight (stopping but YOU don't change planes), the grid would just show a number - usually 1, but sometimes 2 or the dreaded 3 - in that column. Since it lists an airport-and-number combination, you will have to change planes.
You haven't said why you're asking but, if your concern is over boarding passes, when/if you check in online all your boarding passes will be issued, you won't need to check in again at BWI.

Look at the SW reservation page under the "stops" column.

N/S means non-stop
1 means one stop, but you don't have to change planes
BWI/1 means one stop, with a chane of planes in BWI

I don't know if this is an option but I find the non-stops from MHT are usually as cheap and take longer to fill up. Are you travelling at a super busy time?
