Make sure that you have INDY as your home airport with Ding. Alot of times, you will only get "dinged" if there is a special for your home airport. Other times, though, you are able to see all airports. Not sure what the reasoning is. I just recently learned this from a fellow poster.
but I did get it. thanks for the heads up. I saved about 600 hundred dollars. I had to buy 5 tickets and every bit helps. I have to leave a day early but its worth it.
I saw that DING!, but unfortunately no availability for our flights (leaving for Orlando 3/22 and coming home 3/31) . I really can't complain. I got our SWA flights the day they released their schedule that included March (actually I lucked out and was on their site within 10 minutes of the schedule being released ) and only paid $158 for non-stop RT tickets. I didn't think a DING! would be available for us since I found out last week that our return flight on 3/31 is sold out. I've already made "contingency" plans in case we're bumped and "have" to stay in Orlando an extra day . I would LOVE to do a trip to WDW with friends of ours in the Fall and paid plane tickets would be nice . Good luck to fellow Indy flyers !
I'm gonna be sick! I had told DH when the flights were released we needed to book ASAP! He prefers to drag his feet, see if something better comes along ... so I didn't book then. Now, the N/S flights, which he insists on having, are gone for our dates. And not only that ... I missed the Ding today!
I usually do all the planning but for some reason I thought I'd get his input, listen to his opinion ...
