Has anyone ever called them to see if they can give a general idea when the fares *might* be posted?

On a brighter note, I just got an e-mail with some pretty good deals in Oct and Nov - if I can get BUF-MCO for $49 in Feb I will be happy (but $29 would be better LOL)

Hi, I am still waiting also! Looking to fly out the 15 or 16th of Feb. and return the 24th or 25th! I have part of my vacation booked at BVC but am waiting to see what extra nites I need to make a BRP res.(right now I can only book with them if I fly out the 15th!) I just want to get my SWA tickets and lodging all set!! Joan

We booked our outbound tickets for Feb 3rd when they released. $57 with tax MDW/MCO. I'm hoping for under $100 on the return.

I called group sales today. I told them I was really losing the battle here (which I am) b/c some of our party really want to get the trip plans finalized and are pushing to book with another airline. The agent told me he had "no idea" when the schedule will be extended and I truly believed him because experience has taught me that it is VERY difficult to keep a secret when lots of people know about it...and there are LOTS of agents! I think they might know a couple of hours in advance, since they probably update their computers first, but not more than that. But, then again, this is just my opinion AND I did read (just last night) that one time someone DID post info that the schedules were being released about 24 hours prior to it actually happening!!!! SO......who knows!

While I'm sitting here waiting for Southwest to open up past 2/3/06 all the other Airlines are going up in price and the flights on all the airlines I've checked are at least 1/2 to 3/4 full. So my feeling is there is no way Southwest is coming out with $59.00 fares each way as they have no need to with all the other airlines at $350.00 plus from the Northeast for Presidents week. They would be foolish to do that and last year within 5 minutes of release all they had were full fares so I'm going to find something this weekend that I can live with sorry Southwest I don't feel I can wait any longer.

Yep! That $370 direct flights from ROC (home) -> MCO with Airtran is sounding better all the time, then SW from BUF. I'm still wondering about Jetblue.... they may be announcing some new routes next week. Probably JFK to BOS but just maybe BUF/ROC/SYR to Florida.

I am frustrated and exhausted from checking SWA 8 times a day. DH and I checked out Pan American and Allegiant Air. Their prices from portsmouth, NH to sanford, fl were not that expensive and had flights for the days we want to travel (Feb 16-26) however, they do not have the best track record for maintaining their schedule and even keeping the flight. We have friends that have traveled Pan American 3 times (two of which had their flight completely canceled for no reason or explanation.). I fear that we will once again be driving to FL
