SWA credit question... ?

If I get a credit from SWA is it good for 12 months from the date of the
original purchase or 12 months from the date of the flight ?

Has to be fully used by 12 months from oloriginal purchase date.

Original purchase. Also note that:

1) It can only be used by the same person that it was already booked for.
2) Any travel booked using those funds must be completed by that 1-year deadline.
