SWA CC 3000 Bonus Points Snail Mail Offer

I got this offer earlier in the week and haven't seen anything posted about it.

In a nutshell:

• Snail mail flyer sent to cardholders with offer inside.
• Must register by Dec. 15, 2013 using their website or by calling 1-866-913-4992
• Spend $5K between 10/1/2013 and 12/31/2013.
• Get the usual number of RR points for your spending plus a 3K bonus which is awarded 6-8 weeks after you reach the $5K in spending.

The catch:

• There is a unique enrollment code in the flyer. It is only for the cardholder for whom the offer is intended and cannot be shared.
• As per usual ""Purchases" do not include balance transfers, cash advances, cash-like charges such as travelers checks, foreign currency, and money orders, any checks that access your account, overdraft advances, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, or fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable."

I suppose that people who did not receive the offer can always call to find out if they are eligible.

I wasn't even going to bother but then my son called from college to tell me that he needed to make a major computer purchase (IT major) and it was over $3K. My SWA Visa is the card that he uses. So, I am well over halfway to reaching the $5K already.

I got this too and signed up right away. We put everything on our SWA card so $5K in a couple months will be easy, especially with holidays coming and higher than average spending.
Every little point helps.
