SWA APRIL watch

So, any betting people think SWA will extend the window this week beginning 11-28? I still think it won't be until 12-8.

Anyone have an idea of what we can expect for fares the week before Easter from Hartford, ct? I am shocked at how high fares are on other airlines for this week. I am spoiled from traveling off season. The one way fares are what we usually pay round trip!!! :cool1:

Here's the word from Flyertalk. Kind of what we expected...

Look for the next schedule extension into April 2006 on Thursday morning December 1 or December 8.

Normally the sales come out on Tuesdays and the new schedules on Thursdays. I'm waiting for May. Just hope I can book coming and going at the same time!!

Let's cross our fingers and toes that it's tomorrow!
I'm with you in the hoping department. But I'm still guessing it will be next Thursday. We're taking our extended family & I'd like to get this particular issue put-to-bed.

And it's still not any further than March 31st....Bummer....

!2:20 EST and nothing..

Ok, I check SWA a couple times a day now (I think I might end up having a heart attack if it doesn't come out soon)!

How do folks know it will be on a Thurs?

I'm just going by what flyertalk.com has said in the past. That it is usually announced on a Thursday around 11:00am CST.

Its a little mixed on the Thursday thing. Look:

Sept 23, 2004 open to March 3, 2005 - A THURSDAY
Oct. 22, 2004 open to April 1, 2005 - A FRIDAY
Dec. 9, 2004 open to June 6, 2005 - A THURSDAY

This year so far:

Sept 26, 2005 open to Feb 3, 2006 - A MONDAY
Oct 27, 2005 open to March 31, 2006 - A THURSDAY

Now this is assuming that the dates posted on the first page of this thread are correct. So, I say, let's all just keep our eyes peeled still daily - probably not on the weekends, though.

How soon do you need to book your flight when the new dates are announced. A few hours, a day ...... especially since we're flying from Pgh. & USair's prices are up to $500 for 4/7-4/15. I just don't want to have to drive.......................
