OK, I think I'm getting the right idea reading everything here about SWA, but let me check with all of you experts! We are flying out of Philly at 1:30 pm and I bought the tickets on-line. My confirmation says "Ticketless confirmation". So the day before, at 1:31pm I should log in to getmy boarding pass, and cross my fingers that it says "A"?? Then, when we get to Philly, our youngest is 4, so we should ask for preboarding - but if we don't get it for some reason as long as we have an A pass we should still be able to sit with our kids? And we just hang out until they board "A" and we board and pick our seats from whatever is open?

Am I on the right track?? TIA!!!!

It's been so long since I posted I had to create a new ID, and no sig-tag yet. But suffice it to say this is ds 7 's 5th trip and dd 4's 3rd All on-site

You got it! I don't think you will need to get a pre-board pass though, we never did, you will just go and wait in the pre board area, You'll be asked to board after minors w/out parents, and wheelchairs. I hope you have a great experience with Southwest, we always have!

You should be fine...I am not sure they will let you preboard, but you really don't need to if you have an A or even a B borading pass.... since it sounds like there are 4 of you, you will have to split up anyways (only 3 seats to a row, and finding 2 and 2 together should not be a problem at all.

If you have an A having a row together and 1 across should not be a problem either.
