And the prices are expensive! I needed to reserve the flight home for our May-June trip, and I cringed at the $162 pp price for a non-stop flight one-way. I hope others in different cities have better luck!

Just noticed they were up and coming to post.
I think they are high... $113 from PHL each way. ugh! Plugged in from Newark also, that was like $152 or $156 each way.

Yeah, they are very high for July. We could fly Delta (though I hate them) for less money.

Higher than normal from Chicago too but cheaper than the legacies and Airtran still doesn't have their fares past the end of May out. Plus, DH hates Airtran and at $20 per bag any savings would rapidly be gone.

The TICKET prices are higher than American, but SW becomes cheaper when we factor in bag fees. We're going to be at WDW for 15 nights - we are checking bags no matter how you spin it.

The problem is the SW flight to come home leaves at flippin' 8 AM! :scared1: I am NOT a fan of leaving the resort at 5 AM. We've done that before. It sucks. We could hire a Town Car back to the airport, but if we're going to do that we might as well just fly American and get the good flight time back home. :headache:

AirTran still hasn't bothered to publish fares for June.

High here for Connecticut too.

I had previously booked 5/28 to 6/3 since only that was open. Which is a friday. I hate coming home on friday when I could have 2 more days but the rest of the weekend and even mon/tues are way high!

Anyone think they will go down?

212.00 one way from Minneapolis to Orlando for June!!!:scared1: That's 450.00 RT after fees.... I just cant pay that... bag fees or not! I am gonna wait for Sun Country to release fares. They are always low. I got 134.00 Round Trip last Dec. with Sun Country.

They aren't too bad coming from California. $124-$144 for one way. This is about right and they are not any cheaper on any other airline, especially with free baggage.

I'm looking for June too, Won't pay $450 RT....no way! I would drive before paying that.

I will still play the waiting game...there is time left :)

After crunching ALL of the numbers we come out $175 better going on SW and taking a Town Car back to the airport on our departure morning. At dark o'clock.

I doubt we'll be able to check the bags at AKL since they require 3 hours and they don't open until 5 AM. I imagine an 8:05 AM departure is not enough wiggle room for them. :rotfl2:

Now watch SW and AA fares skyrocket while I sit and wait for AirTran fares. :headache:

We can do one leg AA and one leg AirTran if it is cheaper, but SW flies out of another airport. We kind of need to come back to the airport where we left the car. :rolleyes1

Yeah. Came out to about $317 RT nonstop each for DW and DD for June from Chicago. Luckily, I had a RT reward for myself that I got for signing up for the CC. So, adding the 9-11 fees from my rewards ticket, we got all 3 off us (plus DS on lap) for ~$680. I won't complain. I still think SWA is the best one out there. I'm supposed to be getting some more Southwest gift cards in the mail from the CC promo, so we may end up getting DS a seat for free as well.

I bought our 1 way for June 2nd on SWA, but I will wait for Airtran because SWA wants $148 to come back.

We have Spirit and Virgin coming to DFW so I will wail a while before paying that.

I totally agree that the prices released today are higher than what they have been showing over the past few releases......... I am looking for MSP-RNO and the price released today is $150+ higher than it has been running.... I am also looking at RNO-LAS which had been $59 or $69 and its original price today is $81 with some flights even higher.....

I hope they will come down a bit...

I faired pretty good I guess:teacher: booked one way for August 12th AUS to MCO $115 per person. Maybe the return will be less:surfweb: just a thought.;) They agent I spoke with said her last 2 calls where for guests going to WDW in July.:thumbsup2

I just checked jetblues fairs, I did great..:)

Really? I hadn't heard they were adding more carriers to DFW! I will have to check into that! :thumbsup2

We ended up booking with United and AA after seeing SW's prices for our route. All in all, SW was nearly $200 more. After luggage, SW would still be about $50 more in total, not to mention with United and AA I have already picked our seats.

I plan to daily stalk for sales out of Philly.

I just got our SW tickets for $123 each way from PVD to MCO. :cool1: I am happy with that price for our Summer,2011 trip:goodvibes

Airfare is getting more expensive. Checked the prices from San Jose today...$700 more than on the 16th (same flights, same everything) when I bought it. I am relieved I didn't wait. $700 more???:scared1:
