:sad1: I have $170 in ticketless travel funds with Southwest that are about to expire on 10/31/10. Unfortunately, I've had to cancel 2 trips d/t finances - one last year & one for this Oct. I really hate to lose that $170. Do I have any options besides taking a trip that I can't afford or losing the money?

Thanks for your help,
Shelli

I think after it expires you can call SW to have them extend it for 6 months (? not sure how long) for a $50 fee I believe or you can try to sell them to someone who's going here soon to use the ticketless funds but that will all change come January.

Yes and no. Yes, you can extend the TTFs after they expire, for six months for $50; yes, you could pass them on to someone else; no, you can't sell them to someone here :)

Thank you! I'm thrilled to learn that I can extend the credit for 6 months & will only lose $50. That's much better than $170 down the drain.
