Are some seats better than others? Any to stay away from? Thank you!

I cannot think of one that is better or worse than any other. The exit rows have more leg room, but are restriced by age.

I see that the flights we go on that no one wants to sit over the wings, that is usually where we sit. I dont think its a problem. We are in the a group and after the preboards if you are at the end of the a group you wont get any higher than row 13. (wing row) plus after access row.

Thank you. We leave in a few hours. Did online check-in - no problem - got A's.

Over-wing seats will usually give you the smoothest ride, although depending on the plane, the engine noise tradeoff may be a factor.

You can go to www.seatguru.com to see which seats are the"best" on each major airline. The info is great. We used this 3x when choosing seats for our flights. Don't let the airlines just "stick" you anywhere. you can make a reasonable choice.

You don't have much choice on SWA. It is first come first serve.
