SW RR # for 2 year old

We are planning to book our flights on Monday when the new dates open with Southwest. My husband and I both have RR accounts, but our son does not as he has been a lap child. However, he turns 2 in August, and for our next flights, he'll have a seat of his own. I'd like to sign him up for a RR account so he can earn miles too, but he obviously doesn't have his own email address. Can I sign him up under my contact information? Does SW have something for this? I looked on their website, but didn't see anything.

I have a gmail address as a secondary email. I registered my daughter under it and it worked fine. Have a great trip!

All three of our SW accounts use the same email address. It's possible I did the "dot" thing, where you put a dot in the gmail address (only gmail does this as far as I know) so it looks different to the site but gmail recognizes it as you. So for totally made up instance... thisisme @gmail, and this.isme @gmail, and thisis.me @gmail. It all comes to me, but SW thinks it's different.

Not sure if I did that or not. But all the SW RR emails (for my household) come to me.

Just as a heads up, when I tried to get an account for my young son, I had to do it at the airport. There was no way to do it online. But, it wasn't really a big deal. They added his new RR account number to the flight.

I created a different email account for him and forward all the emails to my account.

Thanks for all the input everyone! I just gave it a try and was able to enroll my son using my email and phone number. We're all set to book on Monday morning.
