I know SW has discontinued many non stops into MCO and TPA. We need to fly to Tampa in the Spring and noticed there is nothing less expensive than $153 from BWI. No variations for midweek travel etc. I wonder if this will be the norm now? We can consider a midweek into Orlando but it's just a convenience thing for us. I guess the days are gone where you can snag bargains. Maybe Black Friday (fingers crossed)

I would not count on sales occurring any particular day. Pricing is based on demand and evaluated/changed on an almost continuous basis. Why Black Friday?

$153 one way or roundtrip? I got a one way from PIT for $115, though it was good. Used points for the return.

What dates in spring?
Any time mid March to mid April of course you're not gonna find dirt cheap flights.
I was just able to get RT from Buf to MCO, non stop, Monday-Friday for $150. However I'm going the week before President's Day so not during a school break.

In the past, we found a few good travel bargains around Thanksgiving. I'm not counting on it this year.

We are finding that the lowest one way fares are 153 for late April early May.

I booked Alb-Tpa for college spring break (March 9-15) for $340/pp non-stop and the price seems to be a bargain! Wanna get away fares are sold out for our trip home, never seen that this far out.

I check the website every couple of days hoping for a price drop but there hasn't been one and I don't expect it at this point.

On the SW site, try booking for 8 people (the max) and it can give you an indicator of how many seats are left at the lower prices.
