SW out of Tampa

We were going to drive for our WDW/Cruise trip this Oct, but we caved and bought flights since flying back from Tampa was so cheap. Our question is, how busy is Tampa compared to MCO? We didn't buy the EBCI and are flying back the same day we disembark. There are 4 of us and as long as we get two sets of two seats together, we will be fine, but I didn't know if they had as much family boarding as Orlando does. Any thoughts?

Nothing like MCO!!! We flew out of there last year and it was a breeze.

It's VERY easy. Much smaller airport, and many fewer passengers. One of the biggest differences is that security is on airside instead of landside.

You should have no trouble getting 2 + 2. There are fewer families, but more older people.

Thanks! We are willing to pay for EBCI if we need to, but if it's not as crazy as MCO would rather save the $60.

We've done SW out of Tampa many times and have never had any problem getting 2 and 2. Never bought EBCI and kids are too old for family boarding. Definitely less families out of Tampa when compared with Orlando.
