SW opening up dates on Sept. 28th??

Yes to both. There is no penalty to change the flight, although if the flight you are changing to costs more than what you paid for the March 11th flight, you will have to pay the difference. It is very easy to change flights online. Start by clicking "Change Flight" on the home page under My Travel, and you'll find easy to follow instructions. Good luck!

Thanks! We are new to Southwest, so I wasn't sure.

How far in advance does SW book their flights? Our trip is June 2-12. So I can book my flight there on the 9/28 (or 10/5), but I am trying to figure out when I can book the other flight!

Thanks!

Our dates are for June 2-12 also! I was hoping to see info. for the trip there on 10/5...would probably purchase the flight there (the most important direction!) and then stress myself out daily about the trip home until they extend the date even further! When it comes to the planning, I want it done NOW, I just can't help myself! I have faith in SW so I'm going to stay positive and put the good vibes out there :goodvibes that they'll come through for ALL of us!!

I would look to see SWA release dates again in December. We have often had so book one way and then wait for the next release to book our trip home. No problem!

So glad to read that the flights will open up on 9/28 instead of 10/5 :woohoo: I will only be able to book the flight down but that is the more important one anyway :yay: I can wait to book the trip home :tinker: Thanks DISboard :thanks:

Did anyone notice the news flash on the SW website? Does it say that they only have flight up to April 7th?

Ok..I looked again today and it now says April 28th.

I really need help for you Southwest experts. We have not flown SW before. I hope I will be clear in what I am asking!!!!

We are flying down to MCO March 11th. This is as far out as the schedule goes right now. We are flying back home March 19th. I am waiting for the new schedule to come out that will include that date.

Ok, now my question....the one way price down there is the cheapest I've seen from any airline and I want to grab it but I am concerned about what flight times will be available for the flight home on the following Saturday. Are the flight times pretty consistent from week to week? If I check a couple of the previous Saturdays can I be pretty sure that those are the times that will be offered on the 19th?

If I can't really count on those times being offered here is my next question.....if I wait until the new schedule comes out.....does SW typically raise the price on the flights that were offered in the previous schedule that was publicized? In other words, if I wait until Sept. 28th, do I run the risk of losing the price the one way is at right now?

I am soooo hoping I explained this so you guys can help me!!!!
