I received an email from Southwest about last minute deals for Memorial Day. When I click on it to check prices it asks for a promo code. I don't see a promo code in the email...is there a code? Is there really a sale or is this just some sort of gimmick to get me to their site?? :confused3

Agreed...no deals. My flights were over $200. There was a spot for a promo code, I just thought maybe if I had a code the prices would be cheaper. I have an AP - always looking for a excuse to go to WDW!! I would go down on short notice if I had a great deal. :goodvibes

The promo code box is always there. Sometimes I get promo codes in e-mail. If you have a Facebook account, you can become an fan of Southwest and occasionally they post promo codes on their Facebook.

There certainly weren't any good deals from Nashville. I have more important things to do, but I thought I would waste some time anyway comparing the SWA rate for this weekend with another airline. So I picked Nashville-Buffalo ($239 on SWA) as a test and compared with American, which is often the lowest price out of Nashville (by a small amount), after SWA and Frontier. The cheapest American had was $500 each way, so relatively speaking, I guess you could call SWA's price a "deal". But I would rather stay home than pay that much. :)
