SW & MCO questions....picking up and dropping off

My husband is flying out on SW at 4:30 and my mother is flying in on SW at 3:35 the same day. It has been soo long since I have flown...before 9/11, and was curious as to where would be a good point to say 'good bye' and pick up mom??? I remember the old days when you could go all the way to the terminal where they boarded.

When you enter MCO, park in the daily garage and enter the main terminal with hubby. Say goodbye to him at the entrance to the security line and then head off to the food court and retail shops to wait for Mom's flight to land.

When Mom's flight lands, you can wait for her at the exit from the secured area, which is next to the security Checkpoint. You can then head down to Level 2 to pick up her checked bags.

You will probably have an hour wait, since you and hubby will have to arrive at MCO two hours ahead of his departure time. Use the time to explore the airport, shop the Disney Earport store, or have a bite to eat.
