SW March 13+ release time?

I saw that, too! Nothing at all posted for the first 4 or 5 flights in the morning! Weird! So I just booked my return flight back to KC on the 20th (for $59, thank you very much) and figured I'd check back later.
Well, I checked back again after about an hour and they had a full schedule of flights listed. Unfortunately, the early ones were more than I wanted to spend, so I took the 5:15 pm non-stop (also for $59 )
I do plan to keep watching for sales between now and then, because I would prefer to leave KC earlier in the day and to leave Orlando later in the day than what I currently have booke.

Oh, absolutely!!! So I sacrifice a few hours at the beginning and end of the trip--I still have 6 days of uninterrupted bliss!

The flights from Kansas City to Orlando are going WAY up. I booked around 10:00 this morning and paid $1364 for the 4 of us. The same exact flights are $2000 now! Glad I didn't wait.

Did anyone who was booking out of Kansas City for March 13 this morning get the first nonstop flight? It was showing up with the cheapest fares unavailable less than 30 minutes after they opened up. Just curious if there were just that few seats available or if they know people want that flight so they didn't even offer the "wanna get away" fares for it.

I've watched them increase today as well, we're leaving a week later than you, so our prices aren't as high. But, they've still gone up from this morning and not everyone in my group has booked yet. I had to make a concession and book a Saturday return instead of a Sunday, but I got $59 fares each way. (Couldn't justify paying an extra $600+ for another day of Disney! We're arriving a half-day early now, so that will make up for a little bit.) I'll keep my fingers crossed that a sale or ding will show up for a better time down the road.

Does the whole state have the same Spring Break? Is that why your week is pricey? We're driving up from Arkansas...

I got $89 on the way down and $177 (ouch) on the return trip. Thats a little more than I would like to pay but its week after Easter and probably the best I am going to get. At least both my flights are nonstop, however I wish I had an earlier flight down. The earliest they had was 820-1030 from CMH-MCO. Normally we can get an earlier flight. Other than that, I would say I am pretty happy.

We were able to book KC to Orlando departing March 13 and returning on the 20th for 5 people for $1,191 at 10:30 this morning. However, we couldn't book the early morning flight for a reasonable price, either, so we're taking the 5:15 pm nonstop. But, our return flight is at 5:55pm, so plan on spending the morning of the 20th at a park.

I just checked SW, and the prices have gone way up! I'm just grateful I was able to book direct flights for $238 pp, since Airtran and Delta fares are currently $450+ pp for nondirect flights!

the flights I bought didn't have the "web only" specials and I was online the minute flights went on sale. They were non-stops and I think SW didn't bother having any flights at the lowest prices for those. For me, it was worth the extra $25 to book a non-stop flight.

ETA: my flight out has already gone up $30 since I booked. So, in my vacation-justification crazy math method, I saved $60 by spending $720.
