According to the concierge at GF they now have Southwest added to their RAC.

I just called and according to the bell services at BLT and the Contemporary Southwest RAC is now up and running at there location. I go in 26 days i cannot wait for that.

This is great!! Perfect timing. :woohoo: We leave tomorrow and would LOVE to use RAC since we have a late return flight! I'll post when we get back

Anyone have anything to say regarding this?

stayed at Pop, flew out on SWA using EBCI, did nothing to check us in for our return flight. morning of our departure, our boarding passes and luggage tags were hanging on our door (did not request this in any way), with instructions on how to use RAC. dropped our bags off @ RAC & picked them up again at our home airport.

Thanks for the info! :cool1: We'll be flying SWA for the first time and using RAC for the first time and you answered the question perfectly.

Thank you for this. We haven't had any problems checking in at the 24 hour mark in the past, but this year we might use EBCI for our flight home just to make it easier like this.

The following is something that I was told, via PM. Evidently this poster spoke with RAC folks and this is what she was told........(and saw).....

"The boarding pass thing.

They enroll each passenger who is using DME and a participating airline in the RAC service with one bag and ask that you call to cancel if you won't be using RAC, they don't state what to do if you are checking more than 1 bag per person.

This is as per the flyer, if you are staying at POP or the ALL stars your boarding pass will be delivered to your room prior to 0430 on the morning of your departure.

For all other resorts if your flight leaves before 12 noon, you need to check in with RAC at least 3 hours prior to departure and you will get your boarding pass at the RAC desk. If your flight leaves after 12 noon then your boarding pass will be delivered to your room prior to 9 AM.

All my flights going home are usually around 6 pm which explains why I always get my boarding passes on my door. If I remember correctly you use RAC early in the am which may be why you don't get yours.

The above info is actually directly from DME and is actually in writting. "

So...hopefully this will help clear some things up.

We are spending our last night at BLT so this is great news!:cool1:

I'll know tomorrow - I'll try to post when I arrive.

I know we are all waiting to hear from Tara about Southwest joining RAC at AKL, but I thought I would post what I was told today.

I spoke directly to Bell Services and they said, "Southwest would be up and running either Monday or Tuesday of this weeK".:banana::banana:

Hopefully, Tara will be able to confirm this. Keep your fingers crossed!!!!!!

Hoping for BoardWalk by April 26th--Just a few short weeks, but hoping it'll make its way around the lagoon from Y&BC!
