SW flying nonstop out of MSY!!

I still think SW $ are a bit high for them to be a "cheaper" airline. I still like the delta flight I'm going to be booking later. I am glad that SW went from only 2 flights a day to three... maybe they'll start a MSY DING again, someday... hopefully soon!

I am so glad Southwest is again flying non-stop from New Orleans to Orlando. I just returned today from a trip to Disney and flew Southwest out of Jackson, MS. The flights were great, of course, but I really don't like the 3.5 hour drive to Jackson from Lafayette. My dates for February/March on Southwest out of New Orleans are not showing anything available. I sure hope this changes so we can fly out of New Orleans again. I am somewhat considering the direct flights on Delta out of Baton Rouge but I would really prefer to fly Southwest. I will keep my fingers crossed...

Well now, that I've waited, delta is WAY to high and they have already changed all their flights around, and SW is the only nonstop flight and it's the cheapest right now... this weekend I'm going to go ahead and jump on SW's 61 dollar one way flight out of MSY.. i figure I can live with that price and be happy. THe only yucky thing about it is the flight back leaves at 6 am... but on the way there we dont leave till 1030 which is great... i figure we can do the 6am to save us almost 50 dollars to do anything else...

I just booked us on SW for our upcoming "spur of the moment" trip! I do miss that early morning flight leaving New Orleans though!
