SW Flights are up: Go get em.

I was able to get $67 each way from Manchester NH to MCO 8/30-9/6. Tues and Weds. travel was significantly cheaper so we changed our dates! $621 for 4 roundtrip tickets. Thats about the cheapest Ive ever paid.

Way to go! That is what I am looking into, but for us it means leaving Disney 2 days earlier than planned

Congrats to all who scored good fares! I was surprised to see BDL-MCO so reasonable given the rates they were showing for the rest of the summer.

What really surprised me though was how they dropped back to only 2 direct flights/day and got rid of the nice mid-day flights.

Hey...we're all going to Disney!!!!! And soon it will be time to make ADRs! Yahooo!!!!:goodvibes

That's great, but I'm heading out Oct 1st. Any idea when they will release the next schedule? I can't find it any where on their website.

$79 down $104 back from BDL non stop!.. cheaper than the train my oldest and mother were planning to take!

We just booked $67 each way non stop 9/13-9/20 Providence to MCO for 4 of us.

Needless to say we are very happy!!!

No better for us here in Columbus, Ohio. I was expecting $89-$99 flights but was unpleasantly surprised to see that they are over $100. I was able to get a $109 flight pp back but going down I really wanted to get into Orlando as early as possible (shortened trip for us with a new baby) so I paid a slightly higher rate. Oh well...:confused3, I just was so upset when I saw that they were so high.

They always have a paragraph on the "All Travel Tools" page:
http://www.southwest.com/html/travel-tools/

It's been updated with:
"We are currently accepting air reservations through September 30, 2011. On March 15, we will open our schedule for sale through November 4, 2011. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently."

I'm not too happy about the fares out of Columbus either. I'm looking at CMH to LAX for a Disneyland trip. It's 150 each way, $350 total with taxes and fees. I am hoping for $250 and will probably jump at $300 or lower. I've seen $300 on the other airlines in the past few weeks.

Ugh... I'd be okay with paying the $109 each way from Indy if I had any non-stop option other than an 8:30AM return trip. So we'd have to leave the resort at 5:30am, right? Does the Magical Express even run that early? There goes our 5th day on our PH tickets.

Airtran fares aren't out yet for late Sept. Anybody know when they will be? They always have more non-stop options. But then with SWA aquiring Airtran, anybody know what will happen with that? By Sept. will there no longer be Airtran???

We got the same prices out of BDL, which I'm very happy about. We're paying about $65 per person less than our round-trip fare price for the same week in 2009 (although I'm booking two months earlier this time).

I was also surprised that the flights were so reasonable, but a bit disappointed that there were fewer direct flights. We're going to have to make a connection to be able to fly later in the day on the way down. (We don't particularly like having to get up at 4 a.m. to catch a flight.)

That is where we fly out of too and that is a great price!!!!! But I want October and hope they have the $67 flights then too!:thumbsup2

$135 to $145 out of Philly, a little higher than I was hoping for. :sad2:

MHT is the same price as PVD. DH and I will be discussing an August trip tonight when I get home. With my family's $200 credit, we'll be able to get our family of 4 roundrip nonstop flights to MCO for only $421.60 with taxes. Can't beat that!! Now if only they'd offer their typical steep discounts at WDW over those last 2 weeks of August.

Mommy, we had to fly down and back on Tuesday's to get that rate but it was well worth it. We have the earliest flight down to MCO and a late morning flight back home both non stops and both the flights we wanted. Cheapest flights we've ever had.

We also have Free Dining for this trip so another plus.

Good luck in October.

I was pleasantly surprised at the airfares released today. $149 each way from Oregon to Orlando in September. Not the cheapest I've ever paid, but considering the cost of oil is up, and I suspect will only go higher, I snagged tickets today. The flight schedule is also great - I was thrilled to get direct flights (1 stop, no change of planes) in both directions and at very convenient times for us. Woo-hoo! :thumbsup2

*Sigh* Not sure what to do here. I like to take the first nonstop flight out of BDL to have a full day at Disney when we arrive, and that is $139 one way. There are other flights our arrival day, as low as $79, but they stop in Baltimore and it turns a 2 and a half hour flight into 5 hours!

I'm also not happy that our first day in Disney is 9/30, which is the last day SW has open right now, which means who knows how long I'll have to wait for October dates! I wish Jet Blue would release their dates for the end of September/October, you figure they would want to compete! I'd like to wait for them, but I feel the longer I wait, the higher SW will get, so I should probably just suck it up and buy the tix now! AHHHH!!! :scared1:
