Hoping someone can help with this question. . .If I have a credit from the original purchase of 6 round trip tickets (for example $120 from $20 per person) can I use that credit to purchase two additional round trips or are the credit dollars associated with the individual flier not the account?

I hope that makes sense. . .

Your Question makes perfect sense. The credit is associated with your confirmation number not the individual flier. Meaning, you can give or sell the confirmation number to anyone and they can book a flight and you can also purchase tickets for anyone with your credit. Hope this helps.:thumbsup2

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to view the total credit for a confirmation number online?

Go to Southwest.com. Click travel tools, then at the bottom "View all tools". Look for "View ticketless travel funds Balance". You'll need the confirmation number/s the funds are associated with. :)

I hope the OP doesn't mind me highjacking this thread but I have a SW credit question that I'm hoping someone can help me with. We have a credit but it has expired. I called SW and the nice guy told me that I could extend the credit but they would take $50 from each ticket (we had 3 tickets) and it would be good for 6 months from the date that they actually put that in extension in motion. I told him we were not looking to fly until April of 2011 and could I call back in November and have it extended but he said he couldn't guarantee that this extension policy would still be going on in November. We are planning a trip to Florida in November this year (week of thanksgiving) but the prices are so high for that week that we were just planning on driving. I don't know what I should do! If I wait until November do you think they will still be offering the extension for $50 per ticket? We have 3 tickets that we paid $115.60 each for; so if we extend it we'll have 3 tickets at $65.60 each. I'm just afraid that if we wait we'll lose that money! Help me decide please!
